Terms of use
Effective October 27, 2026
These terms cover your use of GridQuest, run by Vitae Coaching, LLC (“we”). By creating an account or using GridQuest, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to use GridQuest.
- Keep access to your email secure, since sign-in links are sent there. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Your runs stay yours
You own the runs and files you bring to GridQuest. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you: matching them to streets, showing your progress and planning routes. That permission ends when you delete them or your account.
Run safely
Suggested routes are generated automatically from map data and may be wrong or unsafe. A route can include busy roads, roads without sidewalks, closed or private streets, construction, or areas that are unsafe at certain times. Always use your own judgment, follow traffic laws and signs, and skip any part of a route that doesn’t look safe. You run at your own risk.
Connected services
GridQuest works with Strava and, when available, Garmin. Your use of those services is governed by their terms. They can change or end what they share with us, which may affect imports. GridQuest isn’t made or endorsed by Strava or Garmin.
Fair use
Don’t:
- upload runs that aren’t yours, or files you don’t have the right to use;
- try to access other runners’ data, or interfere with or overload the service;
- scrape, copy or resell the service or its data.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Map data
Street and path data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Background maps © CARTO. Map data can be incomplete or out of date, so street counts and completion may not match what you see on the ground.
The service
GridQuest is in early testing and is free during this period. We may change features, and if we introduce paid plans we’ll tell you before anything you use starts to cost money. We may stop offering GridQuest; if we do, we’ll give notice where we can.
No warranty, and limits on liability
GridQuest is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injury or loss arising from routes you choose to run. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; we’ll change the date at the top and tell you in the app about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
